The Aquarian Advocacy Group will lead integrated campaigns to defeat BitLicenses wherever they are introduced. We will also get the crypto industry off defense, and promote positive legislation that supports the growth of the sector.
The Aquarian Advocacy Group was formed by industry professionals to stop big banks from killing the crypto industry. BitLicenses have already passed in New York and Washington State, shutting down those states to all but a handful of companies. A new, model BitLicense has been passed by the Uniform Law Commission. This model BitLicense has been introduced in five states to date, with many more states expected in 2020.
Why We Call It Aquarian
Aquarius was the ancient ruler of technology, innovation, freedom, and thinking big. There’s no better word to describe virtual currency. Our mission is to foster growth of the industry by defeating harmful public policy proposals, and passing favorable legislation.
